2011-2012 Select and Academy Registration Information

If your child has played at RYSA in a prior season and you can’t remember your login information, please email rysaadmin@comcast.net with your name, and your child’s name and date of birth. Your login information will be emailed to you. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.
New payment option added: You can now pay your registration with Echeck.
Fees for the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 seasons for the U9 – U14 age groups are $1160.00 for the year. This includes the following:

The Fall registration fee includes preseason team training, a soccer ball and training shirts that will be received at preseason team training.
***U15 – U19 playing the shortened spring friendly season or playing a spring tournament season will have an additional registration fee in the spring season of $75.00 and will pay club dues at $65.00 per month for each month of training during the spring season.
If you choose to pay the entire yearly fee by July 1, you will receive a 10% discount. If you do not wish to pay the yearly amount in full, fees will be set on a payment plan with four equal payments of $290.00 for U9 – U14, and two equal payments of 322.50 for U15 – U19. The first payment is due on the night of signing for each age group. A late fee of $20.00 will be charged for all initial payments received after July 1. The remaining payments are due as follows:

If you register online and pay with a credit card or Echeck utilizing the payment plan, YOU WILL BE SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT TO AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR ECHECK ON THE ABOVE DUE DATES. If you wish to pay your registration fees by check or cash, you will pay these to your team finance manager by the due date, who will turn in the payments to RYSA.
There will be additional fees throughout the season for tournament fees and coaches expenses for travel to tournaments. Those fees are determined by the individual teams, and each player is responsible for his or her equal share of these expenses. Coaches will let parents know what tournaments they plan on entering, and the team managers will handle collecting the necessary fees.
Preseason Team Training
Preseason Team training is included in the fall registration fee. All players are asked to attend this preseason event so that the teams can maximize this training. Any player that cannot attend training will NOT receive a discount on registration. No exceptions!!
Players will receive training shirts and a ball at preseason training.
U9-U13 Preseason Team Training

Uniforms
RYSA is introducing new uniforms for our Select and Academy teams this year. Our teams will wear the same uniforms as our own Georgia Revolution, provided by Stanno Teamwear USA. Prior to ordering, please bring your child to RYSA to try on one of our sample uniforms as the uniforms are sized in European and are very different from the uniforms we have used in the past.

Volunteering at RYSA
Every team will need a team manager and a finance manager. The Team Manager is an invaluable member of a soccer team. The main role of the Team Manager is to provide information to the team and to help keep the team organized. The Team Manager will need to always be able to provide timely, open communication between parents and the coach. The Team Manager will handle many aspects of the team which are not limited to but may include organizing uniform orders, email and phone communications, tournament details, organizing volunteers, maintaining player passes and official Ga Soccer roster, filling out game cards for games, filing injury reports or misconduct reports, relaying information from RYSA to the team and other miscellaneous duties depending on the age group.
The Finance Manager probably has the toughest job and that is to collect money from the parents for the registration payments, tournament entry fees, coach’s expenses for travel and other misc. items. A must for a finance manager is to be at the fields during practices and at games so that you can collect money from parents.
Please let Lisa Fouser know if you are interested in fulfilling the Team Manager or Finance Manager position for your player’s team. Some teams already have Managers in place from last year that will be returning.
